Pirates of the Coal Sack Chapter 35 by DangerousLines. This issue kept changing directions on me. My original focus was going to be on the return of the prize crew, and then events that have now been moved to next issue. But then Riley’s rejuvenation started pulling at me. The man just got thirty years younger, from his perception overnight and after a near-death experience.
He’s got a lot on his mind. But then, I decided to take an excellent reader suggestion to do a line-crossing ceremony, and it basically took over the last act. If I didn’t like it, I could’ve kept going, but I think it makes a better conclusion. And a touch of naval tradition. And all of it gave me a chance to catch up on the sexy stuff that’s been back-burnered for a while.
